Design Center Steps

1. Once your mortgage has been pre-approved, you will be contacted by one of our Design Center Representatives to schedule your appointment. A packet of information will be sent to you to help you prepare for the appointment. This packet will include several price sheets and a map to the Design Center.
2. Within 10 days of mortgage pre-approval, you will visit our Design Center to begin the selection phase.
3. A scheduled Preview Appointment will be offered to all of our Pre-Sale homeowners. A Preview Appointment will also be offered to our homeowners purchasing a market home depending on the stage of construction. At the Preview Appointment, a one-on-one consultation will take place with one of our Design Center Representatives. The “Homeowner Checklist” will serve as your guide for the options available for your new home. At the completion of the Preview Appointment, you will receive a list of your selections including pricing. A Preview Appointment will give you the opportunity to review your selections and your budget before finalizing your selections. The average Preview Appointment will last approximately 3 hours.
4. The Final Appointment consists of the confirmation of the items you have selected for you home. A careful review of the options will complete the Design Center phase. Your Design Center deposit of 25% will be collected; payable by check at your final appointment. The average Final Appointment takes approximately 1-2 hours.
5. After the selections are completed, your Design Center Representative will send you digital photos as a reminder of what you have chosen.
6. Patrick Malloy Communities will apply for your building permit.
7. Construction Begins!
